There may not be a more apt way to describe it - the game is an astonishingly(Played solo offline on a PS5)Borderlands is a **** of fun. (Played solo offline on a PS5)Borderlands is a **** of fun. I like the way you can play-through twice, and after maxing out your experience and levelling up it can be fun just treasure hunting for the best gear. And Mordecai's pet Bloodwing is a real killer when you upgrade. I have only played as Mordecai the Hunter as I love using the sniper rifles, and his pistol play is really fun too. I would recommend this game to everyone, young and old alike, and definitely play the DLC if you can, it really expands on the original game and adds great diversity and extra chances to level up quickly. I loved the game so much I have purchased Borderlands 2, I just haven't found the time to play it yet.
I just haven't been able to defeat Crawmerax the Invincible. I have completed two playthroughs as Mordecai and all of the downloadable content. I justMy favourite game, not that I am much of a gamer. My favourite game, not that I am much of a gamer. And while the story was minimal it still drew me in.I highly recommend this and will definitely be playing the various sequels. The game felt challenging, but not impossible, throughout. The various enemies the game throws at the player made my flesh crawl, and so blowing their heads off was incredibly satisfying. The available weapons and RPG-style levelling make for great gameplay. The Switch's motion controls lend themselves well here and for the most part the game feels responsive. Having completed it as Mordecai I plan to revisit the game and try some of the other playable characters, but I will probably move onto Borderlands 2 first.The game runs smooth with a unique cell-shaded look. It took me a little while to get started, but once I got into it I was hooked and couldn't put it down until the credits rolled at the end.
